Not sure if its a blessing or a curse, but we got our hands on a 1982 Wet Bike for the low price of $0 :ugh: A buddy of ours closed down his shop and let us have what he didn't want to move (also got a 550, 750sx, and some fuel jugs) Anyway back to Old Blue, this thing has not been registered for 20 years, the main buildup here is to get it on the water. Luckily it was very well taken care of spending most of its life in storage. Only in the last few years has it been outside, but luckily it had a cover on it. After draining about seven gallons of gas/water/mystery goo out of the fuel tank and replacing the battery it was go time. We had already decided that if it wouldn't fire it was going in a dumpster, to our surprise the damn thing fired right up :shocked: Looks like we need a little work on the fuel pump (not quite enough pressure) and maybe some carb work (not sure yet) Other than that the things a real peach :ugh: It already has its first mod, a new set of bars. We will be working on it again tonight to try and get it ready for the water.
