R and D intake for 44s question?

Ok bought some 44s for my 760 motor and i got a R and D intake with it, but i cant get the top bolts in to bolt the intake on. It looks like they didnt machine the part where the carbs are mounted on to enough. I cant get the bolt into the hole because there isnt enough clearance or room to put it in there. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it.

If you have an Ace hardware near you, they may have them. Bring your manifold with you to match them up correctly.

I don't know off the top of my head. I would just bring a carb with you too just to make sure you get the right one.

6 mm if i remember correctly

Try an M6x1.0x30mm stud and move up if needed.

I know the Boyesen manifolds use a 31 or 32mm stud.

I'd also suggest using a Nylock nut rather than traditional nut/washer. It will be a lot less fumbling around.
