River road block

It was posted in the local news paper thatthe river I ride on (Ottawa River) will be closed and blocked sometime mid-august because George Bush will be staying at Chateau Montebello. Its a castle with giant docks that is very popular around here.

I am debating if I should go for a ride to check out the police boats and stuff or will this be too risky. I dont really want to have snipers checking me out you know....:rocketwhore:

if it's blocked why even try..... it's more hassle than it's worth in my opinion... plus i doubt you wanna be a moving target for snipers for an afternoon

I wouldn't bother. They will have ZERO tolerance and ZERO understanding of anything. Catch one of them in a bad mood and you could spend several nights in a federal-pound-me-in-the-ass pen.
