i am a returning customer, not a first timer.

ordered 3 sheets of 42x60" 3 weeks ago... she said ship date was August 2nd, but would probably ship sooner since it was in stock. i was like kick ass, riding season is half over and i have been down for to long this summer since the motor blow up. as of today, no confirmation email, account has not been charged, no contact from them so i shot over a phone call.

i call up, ask to check status of an order, she asks me to hold... and hangs up on me. i call back, someone else answers and says sorry she is checking your order... im like how, she has not even taken my name?

so she gets all my info, says my CC was denied and thats why nothing has proceeded. then i stated wtf, where was contact from you guys?

turned out the chick entered the WRONG CC number in (after i told her to read it back to me).

AND they entered in my email address wrong. errr

finally ships today and ran the CC on the spot... approved (duh). they would not cut me any breaks even after they ********ed up data entry twice!!!

yea my buddy ordered a few sheets from them on a monday expecting it by the end of the week, calls friday asks for a tracking # and they say oh it hasnt been sent out yet well send it today.
 
You aren't the first. They shiped to the wrong address in another state in which I used to live, and then had the balls to have me contact my old employer and have them send it back to them when it was their screw up in the first place. Ever sine Laurel left the place has goone to hell, the people working there don't even have an idea what a Jet Ski is nor what customer service is.

I too have had issues with them. Every order I have placed has taken 2 and 1/2 weeks plus to get to me. Both times, they did not even ship my order until I called back 4 or 5 days later asking for a tracking number.

i am not knocking hydro-turf in anyway. but since laurel left, things have not been the same from what i have seen and heard.

and generally the vendors have what you are looking for instock unless it is something out of the ordinary

I totally dis agree. While I liked Laural, Mike has taken care of me and has yet to screw up an order. Laurel screwed up 2 in a row ROYALLY I might add. Call and ask for Mike, he will take care of you. IMO.

Actually, you would only be able to say that you were without for 11 days since you were actually told it would be shipped on the 2nd of August, today is the 7th (Shipment was only 5 days late, 3 actual business days to get technical), So to paint the picture that HydroTurf has caused you to be without turf for a month is not exactly true or fair to them, yeah, they had a hiccup and you diserved a phone call at the least to say "Hey, there is a problem with your CC". Why did you not order earlier in the summer when your motor crapped out, could have had your turf completed by the time you got the motor fixed....... ( I am in the same boat, my TLR Ported motor decided it did not like the crank bearings anymore........ complete engine toast, only thing still good is the cases). It is real easy to come here and blame a company when something goes wrong....

Here are a few things to consider

1. when you called out the CC number a few things could have happened.
a. she could have just transposed a number, it happens.
b. you may not have been speaking clearly (I mumble sometimes, I know have caused problems by not speaking clearly.
c. there could have been some noise in the background and she misunderstood what you said when you called out the numbers.

2. They had your email wrong.

a. see the above examples.



Did they correct the issues............ Yes.......

Hydroturf has always corrected any problems......
 
when i ordered some turf, it took a while to get shipped also. But i called and they said it was getting shipped the next day. all this was about 2 weeks until i got my turf, and i live on the east coast, so i wasnt complaining. i like their stuff and ill be going back.

to all of your points, any business that take info over the phone should verify the info after you give it to them to avoid any of said excuses above PERIOD. Then they would not have had to correct the issue. Well, actually they did not correct it he had to call and correct it for them.

Call and pay your electric, gas, car, pretty much any standard bill, and the person or computer will verify the info so that they get their money. This should be standard business practice. Also, there has been another complaint about their internet ordering and people say to call, we that must not work very well either unless you get Mike, apparently.

Had problems with those companies at one time or another......

few weeks ago went to the bank to deposit paycheck........ money got posted to someone elses account...... Chit happens. I called, they got it corrected.

point is, every business makes mistakes........ they go through growing pains, they have employee turnover, they have to train new people..... Just the pains of running a business.

well this is the negative feedback section. he had a problem, stated it and now people come in and defend hydro turf for screwing up. if this would have been waterdawg then every one would be saying that he should not have dealt with him. i feel that no one should defend a company unless they work for it, i don't care how much support they give the sport. if hydro turf wants to get on here and state their comments then they can. if they screw up then they have to deal with negative feedback.

I also thought this was a negative feed back section is it not? Yep every one screws up from time to time but this is the section where you can post that correct?

I have had good service from HT but I also went thorough Laural.

i will order from HT again, only cause they kinda have a monopoly on the market... (keyword: kinda)

i put the order in over three weeks ago and she said everything was in stock. how long can it take to roll up a few rolls, put in a shipping tube and ship away, realistically?


just glad it is on its way.

last time i ordered a whole kit, i ordered diamond, they sent straight cut. we'll see what happens this time. :scared:

I do hate how long it takes to get here (still waiting on mine), but you gotta love that 15% discount- I saved like $40 on this order(seat cover+turf)
