I was going to step out of the discussion, but I have something to say.

You all need to stop posting your judgements. Your ideas are very narrow minded. YOu look at something you wouldn't do where someone got hurt and say "Oh, that's so stupid".

My age or maturity has nothing to do with the topic at hand as one person brought up.

How safe was my weekend? More safe than the people riding stand ups in the carnage section that have been posting all summer about their serious injuries. More safe than that guy in that video that was 20 feet in the air, upside diwn nhanging from the handle pole of his ski. We all know he got hurt pretty bad.

I would NOT hit a 10' wave going full speed on my stand up and jump it 30' in the air, but I also wouldn't turn to someone who did it and got hurt and say, "boy, that was pretty stupid, I bet you wont be doing that again."

I could go into more of a rant, but I'm going to save it.

you could go ahead with your comebacks about how the situations would be different... or man up, show perspective and understanding and leave me alone.

Uhm....okay. I just have to say this. You post on a message board like this BECAUSE you DO want people's thoughts and opinions. You can't post up and then get all bent when the opinions posted don't go your way.

a jet engine can fall out of the sky and kill you so walking is dangerous, a car can jump the curb and kill you at the same spot. again proving walking is dangerous. there is no safe place on the planet. period.

pulling a stunt and jumping a ski 40 feet in the air are both dangerous, you are correct. the difference is you chose to come here and complain about someone elses incompetance for you trying a stunt, where the guys who break bones, say man that was scary, I did xxx wrong learned from my mistake and I will do it better next time.

go nuts! just don't whine when you are doing something risky( I wanted to say stupid) and it doesn't go the way you wanted it to.
