So....what'd you break?

I lost one topend before I ever got there (didn't realize it though) to detonation. This was my 760 Frankenstein motor. I ran the stator a bit advanced, hot pipe, 185psi or so on an 84mm bore.
One piston & dome have sprinkles on them. Blegh.
Boring up to 790cc

My other ski lost a throttle plate screw and sucked it through the topend. Turned out to just score the cyl and mess up the piston, so I got lucky there, sort of.
This engine was at 82mm - 717 cc - and is going to 84mm - 754cc.

Pics later.

I also sunk one of Butch's skis once in the surf, destroyed his pump reducer nozzle, lost a bolt, and damaged his limiting rope hook.

So basically you're saying that once you finished breaking your own stuff, you moved on to someone else's. That's dedication.

Pretty much.

Neill tried to blame me for a lean condition in his stroker, but that didn't work out. :haha::biggthumpup:

Can you explain "sprinkles?" I've got an old head sitting around that has what I might deem "sprinkles" on one of the domes (left side in the pic.) I've been hesitating to install it for this reason.

Ok, no more thread jack.

Bluegtate's new WDK hood got all jacked up from someones ski rubbing against his while on shore... took two pretty good sized gouges out of the hood that go pretty deep. but it's nothing some epoxy and a good sticker won't take care of.

I call :bs2:... You were the last one to touch it before I had problems! The last time I rode it, it was fine. You broke it!

I think you caused my exhaust leak too... I think you loosened up that hose clamp while attempting half-assed 3/4 rolls!
:haha: :haha: :haha:

I do my best. :splatt:

So what happened to the exhaust? Loose clamp, that's it?

In other words, you didn't find my other 2 nuggets? :sneaky:
