What's this, and can I remove it?

So, while taking pictures of my ski I came across this lil plastic piece bolted to the back of the reduction nozzle.

Can I remove it, it's held on by only 2 bolts and appears to do nothing.

sure, i dont have one on mine. i believe its for the roostertail tube thingy

Yes, that was the visibility spout sprayer, but with part missing. Take it off.

Thanks guys, I thought it was the rooster tail thing but it sure doesn't make one!! LOL, it makes sense now.

i'd keep it, the rooster tail gives you an extra .0047* of lifted tilt, its that makes the ski do a backflip once its out of the water, it just spends it around.. o_0

I have been wondering for the past three years what those two nuts/bolts on my nozzle were. Apparently my visibility spray was removed long ago but they left those two bolts there.
