I was wondering if anyone had any pics of how they attaced their limiting straps to there pole? As of now my ski has nothing to stop the pole from going forward and snapping the cables etc. I would like it to stop just shy of vertical for riding yet be able to unattach it for wrenching etc.. Any good ideas?

Thanks,

Matt

Here's what I did for mine. It gives you a bit more length as well.

I just bolted thru the hull next to the hood latch. I used a very thick, cupped fender washer on the inside to spread out any load that might get put on the bolt. I reinforced this area so it shouldn't be a problem...famous last words. I used to attach to the latch but I had it pop the latch too many times.

Is that a bungee going to the base on the pole? Is it to keep the main strap from hangin down by your feet?

Thanks for the Pics

thanks for the pics... I've been meaning to do a quick install on one, but haven't looked into it a whole lot. Good call on the cupped fender washer to distribute any pulling.

It's a proper limiting strap from Blowsions. The bungee pulls it in so it doesn't catch around things like your feet or the hood latch. The rope and bungee are all good but I've had to modify all three attachment points to be more "durable" and user friendly.

Here's some motivation for you then.
