WOW the no handed stab is SICK. The GP 1200 stabs are too. I have never seen fixed steering stabs before. I rode a couch (SEADOO XP 951) or something like that a few weeks ago beind the river boat and was thinking, why couldnt you stap this PIG off a big wave? I guess you can. It does seem like it would be a vicious landing on a couch though?????????
I can see where (like rolls) the stabs would be easier on the 24/7 conv. boat but it seems like it would be a little rougher landing as well. I generally lean back at last minute as the boat enters the water and this would be tough w/ fixed steering.

I love stabs... especially inverted stabs... my first stabs were on my GP1200 before i cashed it in for a superjet...

I think I have some better pics at home somewhere...

Butti... i love the no hander stab.. very cool... I've often though about trying to do a superman stab (superman on the way down from a huge stab)...

Jimmy Visser was telling me a guy in France does em

it feels like you get a little more hang time with a stab than if you just launch off the wave.and the landing is softer too.now ill be on a mission for more stab variations:sneaky:

I love seeing variation in tricks... especially when pulling combo tricks... like rail grab stabs, rail grab re-entries... I love seeing more snowboard/skate style in teh surf...

I am so w/ you... my tricks (non inverted)

Nothings
Can Cans
No-handed can can
no-handed one foot can can
disco can can
one foot can can
full extension no-handers
no-hander re-entys
Stalefish rail grabs (and tweaked out variations of that)

simple tricks that add to the quiver

I'm paying close attention to this thread. Seems all yall do whatevers comfortable. Torr, i have been thinking about a front left strap.

Mike, Pete, Nick keep posting cause i'm learning here. I cant stay alive in the rough with my feet in the holds. I have to be in the goofy stance or it's too squerly.

And stabs are easy cause i can do them. My ski has plenty of power and mid-range grunt, i just dont know what i'm doing out there. . . . . . .that's not stoppin me though.

That's frigin awesome Nick!!!

I started playin around with more variation too... no hander tricks, rail grabs and can cans too... I totally love surf style over big air tricks... but that's not saying they are not impressive... I like to see them both... I just favor surf/skate/snowboard style

WTF is this, Stalefish rail grabs (and tweaked out variations of that) got any pics? I am doing look back rail grabs and trying to think of other variations. I have not achieved the NUTS to do can cans yet as I feel secure with feet in holds only, no handers and rail grabs no problem.
On boat wakes I have not yet felt I have had time for variations in stabs. A rail grab stab seems like instant contastrafy to me???????????
