Is this worth $3200..

Do you think this is worth $3200? It's a 98 Seadoo SPX 787 with VTS trim. Everything works fine cept the fuel guage. Includes the double trailer as well. pics.

$1800 MAX if the thing is in GREAT shape with the trailer.

That trailer is worth nothing to me as painted or powder coated steel rusts in salt water.
By it self you might be able to get $300-$500 for the trailer if the right guy comes along.

I think what they are trying to say is don't buy this :dunno: :haha:

Actually I think that the 96XP and 97-99 SPX were the best thing to ever come out of Sea-Doo. You can pick up mint examples with mods for under $2000 so $1600 might be a fair price for this one to some.

All this is just my opinion and by no means am I an expert.
I did however stay at a Holiday Inn once.

If it's in nice shape it's definitely a fair price. I see people asking close to that amount for much older, lesser skis (not counting the value of the trailer in that comparison). It may be a 10 year old ski but you can't buy anything like it today. So age is less relevant than condition IMO. Look it over closely.

I was going to sell my MINT 1996 XP and had a buyer for $2400. I decided to keep it though. That ski looks in good shape but whats up with the chinpad? Hows the engine compartment as far as being clean? Any other "not so perfect" things with it?
