ive seen charles run out at least 3 times.trust me im the guy running across the lake with a vp race jug in the tray.

later mark

Ha Ha Ha Charles.

Those XFTs definitely are beauties and are super light. I rode Charles's Jetworks ADA motor in a lead-weight OEM hull and then the same motor in his XFT. Incredible difference shedding 70+ pounds can make (power to weight ratio).

Lou, that thing is amazing...absolutely great work on putting that setup together. I cant imagine how custom builds like that just go together :banghead: ....PS, your old 61x motor you sold me is barrel roll certified  and running like a champ!

The xft small tank had to go. I also put more practical air box's and a msd coil instead of the stock on. I really didnt want to put the hotter coil on since I figured TL next year. The power this makes has no words to discribe, I'm jokingly saying be carefull what you wish for. Maybe I can get a little controll by the Wave Rave in Aug.

I'll keep the tank incase I need to go back to close to shore 29 min rides. Our weekend riding spot is on the mississippi in which you have to ride 2 miles( round trip) to the hot spot.

so it only lasts for a 1/2 hr? is that because of your engine? or would one excpect the same results on a slightly moddified stock engine?

Heres the REAL reason for a larger than xft tank! Insure you can leave the water and get 10 stitches! I can feel that BR's are soon to-be clean, I only tryed 5 before this put a end to the day. I wear a protec, I guess now I'll use the full face mountainbike lid. Another set back:banghead:
