finally nailed IT

read on the X a while ago that a re entry was one of the best looking tricks we could do:headbang:
well ive been trying hard ever since and i finally nailed it sunday not high mind you about 4ft:Banane01: :Banane01: :Banane01:
its all about timing and hitting that face just as it breaks to be catapulted up and turn to land in the white stuff :woot: :woot:

just got to get video now (waiting on a water proof camera bag)

this is kind off unless im doing it wrong
but you go up the face of the wave turn at the top so your almost side on with the top of it let the wave throw you up (which you can assit in this by giving it more gas)
you keep turning in the air to land on top of the crashing wave
the first trick joe does is a re entry

NICE...i tried and tried them and couldnt do them (kept landing on the back of the whitewater)...i put some straps in my ski and got em dialed first ride...it really helps to throw the ski around

your gonna land back in the face on that one???? no offence but it dosnt look like it to me...looks like a nose stab..if so your the man cause thats pretty big ...

my favorte trick by far. one thing you didnt mention that its really important when learning them is to match the bottom of the ski the face of the wave (putting the ski on its side). its easier if you have your straps sideways. or just stick your toe into your hold. but this trick doesnt really require straps or holds. its also good to get your weight over the front.

taylor does the sickest re entries around. i like how ray barre does re entries too. he will launch from an open face and land riding straight down another open face.

your right...that is the most important thing for reentries as well as just slashing off the lip or whitewater

what!?! a different wave or further down the line. either way thats crazy. i ve seen luke do them both ways with ease
