another great ebayer?

I wonder how these guys make any money?

they are shipping for over $2 in the HOLE according to your math BillyBob?

man, I sure have seen them selling for years on ebay, hmmm.

Easy, look at the buy it now they are profiting on the gasket already if they get it at cost or cut them themselves. They might ship first class (11oz. and under) which would prob be about $1.85. Add the fees to that and they aren't losing so much and the $1 they are if they are is absorbed it the net profit of the gasket itself.

I buy from them frequently, never had any issues. But they never sent anything priority to me either.

you think they are cutting head gaskets themselves?

Ive ordered from them success in the past as well.

You are basically proving my point though, it seems as if alot of small time ebayers dont sustain the volume to buy cheap ( at cost) to sell competitively without gouging on shipping.

the dealer sells the gasket for $8.67 plus tax and shipping. total was 10.93 if memory serves me right.powersperformance charges nearly 5 times what the dealer asks for shipping.they therefore seem competitive until you take the time to add the gouging shipping charges.i'd rather see them ask for a higher upfront price instead of increasing their profit on freight.i think we all realise that the total cost is similar but some people will be taken in by the low initial sale price.

The dealers usually already have a stock order in place.......... they split the shipping to pass on the savings.

Order a part from Greater Yamaha, Riva Yamaha or any other dealer and have it shipped......... guess what........ you will pay about 7.00-9.00 in shipping charges.
