Steve, I think there is still a ACE hardware on North Memorial Parkway right across the road from the 'ladder boom firetruck' that is always setting in the parking lot of the old shopping center. Hope that helps.

Sorry for trying to help. I have had 150.00 stashed in my truck for a real long time knowing I would see you face to face again someday. Now that you are into jet skiing, it will happen sooner than later! Goin to Altoona?

My local ace hardware didn't have any. I was going to replace mine since they were wollered out a bit but instead I had to use them as they are.

No. I am used to being able to get on a track and kick some ass. Just getting back into the water... I am a novice ....which I don't like. After I get some "seat time" and get my skills up to par, then I might not feel like a greenie in a big public crowd. Give me a few months riding with Adrian and I will probably be up for a ride.

I know am the LAST person you will ever take advice from, but, I couldn't do crap on a stand up last year, went to Lanier and learned alot REAL QUICK! To me, it's just like racing bikes, if u ride w/fast guys, you get faster. Of course you have a major advantage over alot of people being able to ride w/Adrain all the time, he is the one that finally taught me nose stabs. At Altoona you would be riding with the best of the best and have WAAAY TOOO MUCH FUN!

Don't worry about it. The water close to the people will be too crowded wth the show-offs anyway. Do what most of us sub-par riders do and go find a piece of water by yourself and you can watch the good riders when you want to do that too. It really is a good time to learn new stuff. I mean, come on....that British guy can only teach you so much :sneaky:
