i have one of those round gappers... i think i run about .025 - .026 on it

I honestly just look to make sure it isnt HUGE ( like in excess of 60 thou) or pinched closed, then run them.
heck I rarely replace them either, wire brush and brake cleaner.

Im sure if your engine is tuned to the brink, that the plug gap might make that vital 0.0067 HP difference.

0.028 seems small to me?

what are the folks with msd enhancers and total loss setups running?

Ill measure tonight, but I am pretty sure mine are gapped substantially wider than that, 2 msd enhancers, and one stock CDI..
