September ride - Crystal Beach, TX (Sept 28-30)

Anyone given any thought about the dates for the Sept. ride? I am looking at booking my vacation, and this time I don't want to book the ride dates.

set the date. I'm flexible. I would prefer it not to be Sept 21 weekend.

oh - and the only way Robbie is invited is if she brings a ski. :biggrin:

I think we talked about going to Corpus or Port A for the Sept. ride. Change up locations for Spring and Fall rides. Port A is bada$$ but no houses on the beach just condos. Theres camping at the State Park and your 5-15 minutes from the beach from anywhere in town. I would guess CC would be Condos or Hotels also, though.

There are some decent prices on Condo's in Port A if you get them out of summer season... which September is. For example, Me and some friends found a 3bd condo for May 19-20 for 165 a night. And it's fully renovated.

The site I found it on was VRBO.com then search for Port A.

The Weather Channel says that September 8th and 9th are supposed to be beautiful with no rain and no chance of a hurricane. However, alot can change in 4 months.
