I hit bottom in Daytona and busted the nose of my ski off.
Had keepers installed and didn't brake anything else. Just taped it up and kept riding.:biggthumpup:
My buddy without keepers hit lightly and broke his coupler.:frown:

Most people end up having to grind them so they don't rattle on the case bolts.
Use them I can't stress that enough. If you want to replace cuplers and motor mounts on a regular basis then don't install them. Otherwise I highly recommend them. I have seen a set damn near worn out in 2 seasons. They are worth ever penny.
I have heard of only ONE person having to do that, and I am not sure why you would have to. They bolted up perfectly to two skis I have worked on. Unless they vary dimensionally, I don't see how that's possible.
