X2 engine swap HELP!!!!

I've got almost all of the 650 to 750 swap done. However I've run into a problem. My throttle cable (stock) is too short. I can use the cable from the SX which is LOTS longer. Any suggestions? Right now I'm looking for something to get me through the weekend and next weeks freeride. This summer I can measure and purchase the proper length cable but I need a 'band-aide' for now.

You will need the longer SX cable, look at the pics how mine is run. Unless you go with a top pull carb???? I can go either top, side (SXR carbs), or bottom now. What type of carb?

They're dual Keihins, but I am not sure which.

Side pull, just borrow your SX cable and bracket for a while.
Dslicker uses one off an STS.

Crab is right. I used one of off a 750 STS. It fit perfect.:biggthumpup:
