2016 Hurricane C2 full carbon

Looking to switch things around so I am selling my carbon 2016 Hurricane C2. Ski is located near Kansas City, MO and is currently complete so I can sell it with whatever you want left on. It is black under the green “15ft“ vinyl wrap. Overall good shape; turf is dirty but could clean up. X-Metal pole and RRP steering, adjustable footholds, hood strap, pole limiting rope all included. Please ask any and all questions you have and I will answer to the best of my ability.

Pricing below:

- Bare hull with X-Metal pole and RRP steering - $3100

- Hull, pole, steering, Torrent 148 mag setback pump, Thrust trim, (whatever prop Torrent recommended for a 148 paired with a DASA 850), midshaft, intake, ride plate - basically drop your motor and electronics in and go set up - $4500

Would sell the ski complete with a DASA 850, Superfreak carbon laydown pipe, and MSD TL set up for $9900.

I have only put 5 gallons of fuel on this set up and just don't ride freestyle enough.

Located in Lee's Summit, MO 64086. Not opposed to shipping on your dime.

Thanks. I just want to see it being ridden. The HOA on my home lake does not allow "stunting" or any watercraft to leave the water. Thought I would give this a try but just not worth losing lake access over freestyle riding. Gonna get back on a superjet and be happy.

Tell me about it! They are actually pretty relaxed most of the time with jumping wakes and what not but would probably shut down backflipping a ski. I usually just try to go to the other end of the lake of where they are.

I am actually on the committee for them! Seemed like a hypocritical thing to do; be on the board and stretch the rules on my behalf. Overall, it's a safety issue. We get out of town guests that jump on PWCs and tear ass across the lake. Couple years ago a couple of kids did this, played chicken against each other on separate PWCs, and one ended up in the hospital with serious injuries after colliding. I don't see them adjusting the rules any time soon, if ever. Regardless, I have ridden a superjet out here for the last 10 years and have had a blast. Suits my riding style better.

I would love to have this on our little lake in Michigan. Out of curiosity, how well do you think it would handle with an old 6'2", 220 lb. guy? Am I crazy for considering it for tearing around and jumping wakes and watching my (lighter, more skilled) son do spins and learn to flip on it??

It’s bad enough that we have to deal with the DNR on what’s safe on a ski that only goes 35mph compared to a 70 mph 3 place rocket but HOA police, WTH

Chad the Hurricane hull is super fun for a lighter rider, at 245 they ride nose high for me but doable. Tough to beat the price.

I can’t speak too much on that so I’d trust Jays response. I’m 130lbs 5’11” and it was very snappy! It would launch out of the water and was easy to toss around. Ever since the old Hurricane promo video from like 10-12 years ago I wanted a Hurricane. Finally got one, loved riding it but soon realized I couldn’t use it fully on my home lake. And with young kids, my tray time has diminished. No fault to them but my time on the water is in the fishing boat or ski boat now. The guy I bought it from was 6’2” about 200 and he could flip it.
