Looking great so far.
I too want to get my blaster build done this winter.
Motorcycle track days and guns say I won't, but I want to lol.

I feel ya, trying to build out my van in the process of this blaster build, and its hurting my wallet bad.

Last time around I was restoring my superjet and building my mr2, deja vu o_O

Wow you have been busy. Amazing job on the nose repair. Good idea to glass the visibility spout in. What kind of paint did you use for the upper deck?

When I re gel coated the bottom of my blaster last year and installed a Push pump shoe I had to install 1 stainless washer behind the top two bolts when the ski is flipped over in order to get the pump to align with the shoe properly. I found it easiest to check without the pump seal.

Thanks man, I just used appliance epoxy spray paint, did my square the same way, cheap, easy, and available.

Not too much done on the blaster this week, just bolting things up here and there, I have a wave raider rear water box ready to be fitted just haven't gotten around to it. Stoked to have found a seat for it, thats a huge relief, they are hard to find so was happy I got such a solid one, even got the (wavey) plastic side piece too If I choose to run them.

Most of my attention went to this VXR, wanted to get that thing back running and hopefully out on the water next week when I'm off to give it a shake down. This thing will likely either hang around or go to one of my buddies for a back up/beater/GF ski, so its not pretty and there is some hokey poop on it, but it should be a reliable ski.

Got my old 650 in it that came in pieces with my square nose, we'll see how it holds up, it runs on these old plugs I had but was down a cylinder, fresh plugs coming and it should run right.

Now the fun stuff, due to a combo of rarity/old and my stupidity in throwing out the old water box that I prob could have repaired and made work, I was on the fence about what to do about the exhaust on this thing. I'm not looking to put any money into this thing, but I did find a post about someone with a VXR running one of these and having success

Yes, thats a cherry bomb glass pack o_O

First time ever buying one of these lol, I have never put one on any of my rigs but I know how popular they are from the high school days.

At the end of the day, its a muffler and will work the same way, I didn't want to straight pipe it, if this thing rusts out its under 30 bux, but the ski prob wont live that long so its fine. Not usually how I do things, but hey, beater ski
