There, Now I should have plenty of adjustment! I can get it further than that, I reamed the holes a bit and it should work fine. Measuring with a feeler gauge, the sealing surface is concentric or very very close to it. I’ll keep updated as I align and install. I was able to get the wear ring in with the seal on it no problem. Shining a light around the inside of the seal I can’t see any light leaks. I’m going to add a bit of silicone to the seal when I do the final install.

Now that you moved the wear ring over it means your driveshaft will move over. Technically nothing wrong with the shaft not being centered in the tube. You may have a problem with the bigger diameter mid shaft shifting over , may rub the tube. The next challenge will be if the mid shaft housing has enough slop in the bolt holes to move over.

We will just have to see next week when I set it in there for alignment! I do remember when I aligned the 148, I had to push it all the way port side to get the shaft aligned in the Cold Fusion tool…
At least this way I can align the entire pump, then remove just the stator to see where the wear ring landed. Then we will know for sure what is offset

So, I was able to get the pump almost aligned but I still needed the shaft to go starboard. I was prying on the mounts for the nozzle and wash shifting it as much as possible but in the end it still needed to move over. This is where the wear ring was after all the aligning and with everything torqued…

I guess you were right @mikesx the shoe is off! But I’m sure it’s nothing I did… I guess these were just slightly off from the factory. Aside from a boatload of work (pun intended) I don’t know that this could be “fixed”
