Just thought I’d share a cool little battery box mod. After relocating the battery box lower I got lazy and wanted a way to put my ski on the tender during the off season or jump it if needed without having to take the entire battery box out.

Cool little mod. Did you cut down the original battery box and then glass in a new bottom?

I thought about bottom mounting a battery until I bought the Noco NLP 14 which weights practically nothing.

Yes, cut it down and used ABS plastic instead of glass. Sealed up the seams and bondoed the giant hole that the original wires came through then linexed everything.

I havent heard of the Noco NLP 14, how do you like it? I am using the Odyssey AGM16L but could fit a much larger battery in the box.

We run the nlp14 in motors with race gas compression. Highly recommend!
