Pitch Components Trim Bolt

One of the two bolts used to attach the trim nozzle to the reduction nozzle on my pitch. Components trim fell out and I am needing a replacement. I reached out to pitch a couple days ago but haven’t gotten a response yet and I’m wanting to get back on the water ASAP. Does anybody have one available or know where I can buy online? It appears to be a specialty kind of bolt.

If it's similar to any other trim system, its an m8x1.25 socket head cap screw that has had the head turned down in diameter. You could get the screw from a hardware store and use a drill and file to take it down the extra 1mm or so.

FYI, it’s a fine thread m8 so m8x1.0. I had to special order them.

is the missing bolt one that holds the trim ring to the reduction nozzle. Or the steering nozzle to the trim ring?

It's the trim ring to the reduction nozzle. I was planning on just buying a bolt at a hardware store and taking it to a machine shop to reduce the diameter of the head unless you have a link to one that will work that I can order?

I could not find socket cap m8x1.0 locally. Had to order them in. Here’s a link to the socket caps that I got. I cut them to length and then put them in a hand drill and used a bench top grinder to grind the heads down. Not perfect, but I was back on the water in 3 days.

3 years later, I am still running the same bolts.
