Bilge Pump Install - How tight is too tight? *Pic*

The title speaks for itself. The angle of this picture makes it look tighter than it actually is. The top corner of the pump is about 1/8" - 3/16" from the coupler. I might try and take a chunk out of the plastic pump housing.

P.S. The BFH is there for weight to keep the thing in place while the 5200 cures.

mine have rubbed alot, its never been an issue.

the only problem ive ever had was the wires getting wound up on the shaft.
that sucked.

thats a good idea, Ive just been using zip ties to hold mine out of the way.'

If you look real hard, you can see that I ran the wires through some heavy vinyl tube I had laying around. Just a little of my anal OCD kicking in. Should keep them from getting into trouble though.

dude all i can say if you mash around and that thing shakes a little its toast yours will end up like mine getting the top shaved of filling with water have it get wacky and internaly melt and explode. i turned my bilge off when i started to smell burning plastic...
so look out haha
