OK, so we have a little fund raiser going @ the Lone Star Freeride. We are doing the JK Flip-Off, very similar to what Slutty has planned for Daytona. I have arranged for some sponsors for myself to pay for each barrel roll and backflip I do on Saturday (weather permitting, Sunday is the backup day if Saturday SUCKS). All money raised will be donated to Joe Kenney to help with his recovery and getting his life back on track :arms:
Here's the problem, Kaveman and myself are the only confirmed riders participating! I KNOW there will be other riders here that could help generate some funds.......The Kansas crew has plenty of talent, the Colorado guys could be helping, and there must be a few others. So what's up fellas, could we get you to ride 'balls out' all day long (without getting hurt!) to help out Joe? All you need to do is get some sponsors to pay you for each completed roll or flip you do, something like $1 each, or $1 per roll and $2 per flip, whatever. The contribution amounts are not important, just that we have more people here doing some work. General donations will also be accepted.
Nelson LT1 has agreed to use his contacts to get us some media coverage for the day as well. There is a possibility of some of the Houston news groups coming out to expose our event, and the Houston Chronicle is also doing a story. This thing could get ridiculous :woot:
So how else wants to play?
