Anyone ever put a hand twist throttle on?

After thinking about it, although i think it would be more comfortable i am going to just go with the standard finger throttle. Only reason being is.... if you happen to slip while riding or you start int eh superman position which is normal for an X2 you may not be able to let off the gas when you need to.

a bike is different, the bars are stationary. on a ski the pole moves up and down it would be very hard to control.

bad idea. you grip and hold your body on with your hand. having that hand on a rotating axis wouldnt offer much support.

i have no doubt i can hold the throttle better with teh twist throttle over a finger throttle going over waves or normal riding. I just dont think it would be good in those mishap moments when you loose your footing on the turf or youre laying in superman position during take off or rest.

drawback is if you fall off your gonna go full throttle with a jet of water comign at your balls, not very safe. However, on a sitdown it may work.

So what's the diff, if you have a finger throttle and you fall off wide open and your hand is clamped to the bar's :bad3:

you would learn it use it just like a finger or thumb.

nope becuase if you know how to use your ski you would hang on with your right 2 to 3 fingers and point your throttle finger. i prefer that over having that death grip when you eat it and are still holding onto your throttle getting pulled and only making it go faster... not good:thumbsdown:

Well he's right for starters .twist throttles do not work on PWC or else someone would have them by now .Jet ski's have been around 30 years now and no one thought of this yet .Pleeeeaaasse

oh wow enough to know that it would be a pain in the ass to use and would be hard as hell control on choppy water where your handle pole is going nuts.

imagine trying to work the throttle and front hand brake and shifting on a mx bike . Like I said you would get!!!!!!
