I got my square all ready for daytona today, but the thing vibrates like crazy both by the pump and engine. I lost my info with what shims were where. I have to shims in the back engine mounts to raise and meet the coupler. I didnt take of the midshaft housing. So how do I get it somewhat straight on both ends. Any place to measure or shims to try.

Are you sure your motor is tight to the bed plate?

And are you sure all your motor mounts are tight?

Even if the motor is Not alligned, I dont believe it would be shaking as bad as you describe.

Oh, I do believe it sure can. The best way to align it is to take out the rubber insert in the coupler. Then put the motor back where it should go and put a straight edge across the coupler surfaces. Shim accordingly to get them level. Reinsert rubber piece and bolt engine down.

Nick, all the skis are packed away packed on tires on the trailer. We all have to do a little work down there but I got my engine running, not crisp but running. I just have some jetting issues, coupler alignment, and limiting rope. Ill give a ring tomorrow.
