This is a long shot. I am looking for the Start button bracket on the right hand side of the bars. I'd take the button and wire harness as well. There is a young man in our group who does not have use of his left hand and has been riding his 650SX this summer like a CHAMP, but he has trouble starting the ski and using the throttle at the same time. I'd like to install the Octane setup for this kid to help him out! I have made these brackets before, but I travel for work these days and have limited time to do so. I am also working on getting him setup with a modified set of bars that will help him utilize his left arm to maintain control and ride.

If anyone has one of these laying around, you'd be doing this kid a huge favor. Please let me know.

Thank you,

Luke Nelson

Easier and probably cheaper to do a yamaha s/s
He cannot use his left hand at all so this wouldn't work, unless you're suggesting mounting it on the right hand side. I'd like him to be able to use one hand to hit the start button and apply throttle at once. I'm not sure there is the room to have both the SS switch and throttle on the right side and allow him to hit both at once....but I'll look into all options.

What about the switches that came on the X2's, Not sure if the SX is same, but mount it next to the throttle?
The 650SX has the vertical start/stop button and I have considered that....I may actually leave it where it is on the left side and wire in an additional start stop switch so others can still use the "normal" button as the ski is ridden by others at times. Its not my ski so I kind of want to leave it OEM in a sense as well. Really just looking for multiple options to present to the kid so he can pick what he likes best!

Next is fabricating an adaptive handlebar for his left forearm to "lock in" so he has control on the left side. Should be pretty simple, I hope. Too much time on the road for work to tackle that soon, but we'll get there!
