SXR 800 Single SBN 46 Setup

Does anyone have experience setting up a single SBN 46 on a SXR with an R&D manifold. It's going on a stock 83mm rebuilt back up motor with no extra bells or whistles. The stock set up looks like it might work with the L=120 H=150 and NS at 2.5 with 80gm spring?

I would start with a 115g spring. Adjust the main jet so that you can get rich of peak rpm at full throttle. Adjust the pilot so you get good response from 1/4 throttle. A large single tends to go lean after several seconds of full throttle. Be aware of this because you can burn a piston on long full throttle runs.

Thank you for the setup suggestion and more important for the WOT warning.

I had the single 46 and manifold laying around, but was still looking for a dual setup (on the cheap) without any luck.

I'll get this started with the single and keep looking for a dual setup.

If you’re still looking for the dual 40i set up, I’ve got a set I’d sell.
