Hi all, hope you guys can help. My ski is a 2000 sj with ada head, type4 dry pipe with ecwi system. I wondered if doing back flushing after playing in salt water ok with my engine setup? My ski has 2 pissers one coming from the head and rthe other from exhaust. Ialready bought 2 ways flush kit and wanna make sure before I do it.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Start ski, water on, water off, ski off. Shouldn’t have any issue.

thanks for your advice. what if the engine is accidentally off before turning off the water for a few seconds. will the water from the pisser that flows through the exhaust exit goes to the crank?

Since it’s a dry pipe you should be alright assuming there’s no cracks in the inner jacket of the pipe.

Water that back feeds from an exhaust system (on wet pipes) ends up ontop of your piston(s) and ends up down in your crank case. It’s just good practice to start the motor, then water, water off, then kill motor.
