I was wondering if anyone could tell me which prop would be the best for my 701 super jet. I’m looking to get the most punch out of the whole with it. I’d like to also know where to buy it to.

Upgrades are pretty much endless. How much money do you want to spend? You can literally upgrade just about every component on the ski from exhaust, engine, and pump.

As of right now I’m thinking of putting a prop in it and a lighten fly wheel weight will those two things give it a lot more punch

The prop will be a good upgrade, the lightened flywheel will help a tiny bit. The biggest bang you will get is from a better pipe, but good luck finding one new or used nowadays without having to sell your children to pay for it.

I just bought a B pipe and installed it and yes it did give it more punch. But my brother bought a super jet and it has so much crazy work done to it that it rides like no other best ski I’ve ever rode and I’ve rode quite a few.

pipe, high compression cylinder head, upgraded ignition, cylinder and case porting will all give better punch.
Since we are squirting water out of a nozzle, more peak power equals more peak thrust. For impellers, forget Solas unless you can bend them. I have their large hub 9-15 that measures almost identical to their 12/18, both are too much load out of the box. The Hooker 9/15 is a safe bet most of the time for 701-760 superjets. Raising the exhaust port will make more power but can hurt response enough to require the impeller be flattened slightly. Increasing compression and ignition timing will give faster throttle response but also raises octane requirements. With this knowledge you have a lot of work ahead finding the most response and power without burning a piston, good luck!
