SXR Extra fuel for long rides

Anyone here with some cool ideas how to carry some extra fuel for long rides. Planning a trip to my fathers cabin what is about 20km from shore, so i think i could really use some extra gas. Im planning going with backbag if i dont come up with anything.

I've ratchet straped/bungie corded a gas can in the tray and ridden down river for miles. Not Ideal, but it works. Stand on the tray side walls and ride.

Last summer I rode across Lake Pepin with a Gas Tank in the tray, standing on the sidewalls. rough rough ride, guys broke their Super Chickens that day!

These are very expensive, but might be an elegant solution. Come in 1-5 gallon sizes.

Come on..... you all know you just need a Hydro-Trailer.

There is room for two one Gal gas bladders or maybe a two Gal if you need more gas. But if you are really are serious about more gas search here under "SXR 6.6 Gallon Fuel Tanks". These are really nice and I see he is offering a 2.6 Gal add on tank now also.

Sxr stock will go about 16 miles wide open. Like 100% pinned. Pull that back to above plane and i bet you could go 25 miles easy.

Couple gallons in the front of the tray, couple gallons in a backpack may work.

Gotta be safe though, go with a buddy with a sitdown or boat at least the first time.

That cabin sounds bitchin any pics?
