Contact Cement. 3m Weather Strip Adhesive. people have used superglue!!!!!
Are you able to confirm that the oem hood seal does fit a DVX, or are you just pointing out that the oem seal is better than cheap/aftermarket alternatives?

OEM Yamaha hood seal works great. That is what I replaced mine with. Spend the money up front for quality and you won’t be putting another one in next year.

I also used an OEM Superjet seal on mine and fits perfectly. I have used contact cement and superglue with just mediocre results with high usage. I started glueing all of ours down with the “Right Stuff” and have not had one even barely begin to pull loose. It’s kinda like RTV black but much better long term bonding.

See below your original comment. The XS Hulls all started out as Superjets, They use the superjet hood design. The hoods were originally very close to the 24/7 SR71 Hoods. Want to know what hull Pat used last before he started building his own? for 1 season he ran a Post Chris Maro's 24/7 Hull & Hood.............

Replaced mine last year, Stock SJ almost fit, had to cut like a 1/4 in. off it. I may have stretched it slightly when applying bc Im pretty sure stock ones are suppose to fit. Even with cutting it havent had any complaints with it, on its 2nd year now. I used super glue. Alot of guys around me do

I have used watcon hood seal and has worked great. I has adhesive already so just prep the area and stick in down. Like 40 bucks and just a few minutes to place it in
