B-Pipe Question

For the screws on the Head pipe are suppose to be set at for best bottom end? Its a 61x with an ocean pro head at 180psi, rest stock i believe if that makes any difference. Thanks.

I would suggest 1 turn bottom, mid closed and 1/4 to 1/2 turn on top.

However, I like to tune mine like this: Close top and mid screws, adjust bottom screw until pipe almost sizzles when you drip water on it - lock it down. Adjust top screw until you find the right compromise of bottom end gain without killing top. If you find that your at 3/4 turn out or greater then you need to turn bottom screw in a little. Keep in mind its the top screw that will mostly provide bottom gains - more top water, better bottom.

My top screw is going to be difficult to get to in an X2, could I set it at say 1/2 and fine tune with the bottom screw?

You just need a twister screw at the top and you can do it by hand.
Pete adjusts his all the time and uses an allen head wrench still but its a PITA .

get a set of twisters from Jeremy Parr or LPW

X4, although I do open the bottom about 1/16 of a turn to keep it from siezing (this may only work in my mind).

Antiseize ,pipe dope or grease is the only thing that will keep if from seizing .it doesnt matter if it's open 2 turns or closed .it's two dissimilar metals and will seize if not removed once in a while .
