Fuel tanks

I have a superjet with a kart tank. 8.5 litre.

Works great. Single pickup I run because I only have a single carb.

If you have twin carbs, then the dual fuel pickup will be the way to go.

I don't understand the guys that have the aluminium tank with the battery jacked up 12 inches attached to it really. Seems like a lot of weight heigher up than it needs to be, but I guess battery's now can be super light so who knows. Each to their own.

Kart tanks FTW!

The two tanks you linked appear to be the same, they both have dual pickups and you'll still need to add at least one more like going to the tank for a vent (easiest way to do is is drill through the cap) and if you run dual lines to dual carbs yet another for a return line as you'd be using both built in pickups for the supply lines. Most people add the return line using one of those rubber gromet fuel pickup things.

I have used a cart tank and I'm not a fan. They are kind of not a convenient shape for fitting and strapping down nice, and they hold very little fuel.

But, they're cheap, they're light and they can be made to work.

I now have a limited slip aluminum tank with a built in battery holder and I like it a lot better. It is a little heavier though, and obviously more expensive although I got it used.
