So I bought one of these from home depot: http://m.homedepot.com/p/Fernco-4-in-Flexible-PVC-Downspout-Adapter-PDSC-43/100163965/

Cut the 4"section off it.

Clamp it on the trim ring.

Make relief cuts like seen in the picture.

Under $4, requires no maintenance, and works great!

As in no maintenance, it requires no grease to work smoothly?

Been making/running flow gaurds for years, hps couplers have worked the smoothest that ive found, but still best to put on a little grease before you ride.
