Waterbox ID?

My SN has an aftermarket waterbox, at least I think it's aftermarket. Can anyone help me confirm who made it? In the second pic, you can see it had been rubbing against my hull for a while and it actually punched through. This was my first time every removing it. The previous owner didn't put any pad or turf or any material between it and the hull and it had been bouncing around against the hull for who knows how long. I guess it's time for me to learn to do fiberglass work. I JD-welded it inside and out and it's held for a few multiple hour sessions thus far.

yea, that's a DG tri oval aftermarket waterbox. i'm not sure if that one was actually designed for the sn sj or not. if it was, its a s$#@ design since it needs to be V shaped to fit properly in the hull. the inlet and outlet look to be in a functional position. JB weld aint going to work. you might as well bypass the waterbox with a piece of pipe, cause its going to leak and cause problems with smoke in the engine compartment. it could be fixed if cut properly to fit the hull and welded. I've got one out of some couch that needs to be V cut and welded to be a nice sj waterbox.

Thanks for confirming. I meant the hull has been JB-welded inside and out, not the waterbox. Hopefully it will last the rest of this season.
