CARB popoff

Hi all im messing wit ha set of FS carbs and trying to get the popoff set to be around 19 pounds. but they keep bleeding off around that point not the clean pop or snap of wd40 in the face im looking for. I order new 2.3 needles/seats but there not OEM like i thought installed them and still the samething bleeds off. Should i be looking at something elses or will the OEM needle and seats fix this?
Thanks

Glad u got it working . Not sure if you got genuine Mikuni but wsm and Sbt are very unreliable for carb parts. My wsm jets didn’t even have the size stamped on them and my brand new. My brand new Sbt rebuild kits wouldn’t seal the fuel pump right out of the package so I had to put my old oem rings back in which sealed still after 8 years.

Just stick with genuine Mikuni only for carb parts.

@Vumad you said it! Those little parts are so important, its almost everything so why cheap out on the least expensive parts that matter the most.
You can save money but you get what you pay for.

Just trying to figure out what parts are bad. Or what causes the weak pop off. Just didn't want to spend 200 on new full rebuildsif not needed. Hate just swapping out parts and hoping for the best

Leaky n/s's can be caused by: weak spring, worn out needle, worn out seat o-ring if all parts are assyembled correctly. All good tuners will buy several springs just to find two springs that are close. I you only have two springs per, then you don't understand how these things really work, everybody learns the hard way. It's just the way it is.
