Kawi 750/800 into a Superjet

Has anyone done this. Trying to save a little time to see if anyone has done this and can provide any insight on the dimensions of the conversion mounts(s) they made.

I put a maekawa 1000cc sxr based motor in a WDK rev hull some years ago. I used the Kawasaki bed plate and welded another strip of steel to the outsides. the Yamaha motor mount spacing is wider than the kawi. it was pretty easy since i'm a fabricating fool.

I was gonna don't his to an old square nose a while back. According to rad dudes you can use their 1100 conversion plate, just have to grind a little material off the plate to clear the stator cover. Otherwise it's a direct bolt in.

Oh nice, I can easily do that. You just use regular mild steel? What about motor mounts? Yamaha ones?

I heard those rad dudes plates are a PIA to get fitted to an 800, way more grinding than it's worth for $300

I never tried it. And I was gonna use a 750sp.
