Xmetal pole install on superjet

2014 superjet....doing an xmetal pole got the old pole out was going to mount up pole bracket but needs 2 breather holes...

What do you guys do for this? I am assuming hole saw at about 1.75" for this???

Also, I noticed there are 6 holes for bolts in the new xmetal bracket....or at least I think....are you guys putting in 6 bolts? Which would mean drilling 2 more holes?


Just wanted to make sure of this before doing anything....thanks!

Well I finally finished the install tonight....

2014 SJ
What is needed...
-Xmetal pole
-Xmetal steering
-06-07 steering cable
-odi rogue grips
-rhaas no slop ball joint
-a few hours of cussing
-two cases of beer....

I really like the xmetal pole. It's sleek and strong. I hate having to tear down the steering to clean up the rusty bearings and regrease them once a month...
