Dry pipe orings

Location
Australia
Hi can anybody show me a picture of where all 3 orings are located on a sxr dry pipe as i can only find the location for 2 of them regards Robert

one fits in bottom of pipe flange in groove, one sits in outside flange inner groove and last fits in the inner flange groove.

On my sxr's i only ran 2 orings. One in the bottom of the manifold and one slid on the pipe. Then I filled the pipe with a hefty helping of high temp rtv silicone and use a kawi 650 coupler with clamps instead of the small silicone coupler that factory pipe supplies. Works great and does not leak. Be sure to let the silicone dry overnight before riding the ski.

you got the 2 rings in the correct place but there is a third ring that fits flat in the bottom of the groove .it serves to seal on the extended lip of the manifold but also is a bumper so pipe doesn't bang on manifold.

In all my years using the dry pipe i only used 2 of the 3 orings. One that sits in the bottom of the pipe to prevent the pipe from clashing with the manifold, and one that sits on the end of the pipe, like the one in your picture.

Then i would use high temperature rated silicone and load the pipe cavity up with it. press the pipe onto the manifold, clamp down the kawi 650 style coupler, and let it sit overnight before using it. Worked every time and never had any leaks. the only downside was the extra few minutes of cleanup after removing the pipe again (to scrape old silicone out of the pipe).
