It usually helps to do the whole backflip, not half of it. . .

I also managed to break my helmet visor and pole spring in the process. Good times at pismo!

Dang! How's the rest of the ski?

She's mint. I reinforced the poop out of it.
But I did break quite a bit of stuff this year now that I think about it.

Here's the list of carnage.

Broken go pro mount and lanyard

Cracked nose piece (eventually fell off. It's at the bottom of Oside with my GoPro)

Broke my tray on a big ass rock.

Broke my steer nozzle (same time as tray?

Broke my battery (internally) shorted it self out from the impact of the ground.

Broken battery tray (same time as battery)

Broke engine mounts

Broke pole spring

Broke chin pad

Bent steering cable (because of chin pad)

That's just off the top of my head.

The good news is that she still floats and runs.

Did the same trying to flip my old jet....Huge wave and no rotation ended with 2 mounts and smashed nose cone. I've got GP800 mounts shimmed down and had them nearly 2 years without any breaking and i still flop occasionally now :(

I put the couch mounts in my ski thinking that they would hold up better. I guess everything has a breaking point.
