Where do you ride? Let's meet up and ride some time next season or whenever I have a ski. Main thing is it doesn't look like your committing. I used to kick myself out of the foothold because u didn't have the balls to try it. I flopped damn near 100 times but finally got it.

First thing feet aren't tight enough. Second thing you are ducking your head in like I used to do and still do from time to time. Have to flick head back. Some things to practice like by like. You going to be in Havasu in a couple weeks? Let's meet up and go ride

Good job anyways for trying Quinc. Your right they make it look real easy.. I can't do it either, got 35 flops down, looks like from what Mike says ^^^^ we've got a ways to go lol. Maybe we should all ride some time and encourage each other like mike mentioned

Me too man, Floppin builds character! Not everybody can be like MikeB out of the gate! :)

Great info! Thank you! Going to read this before riding next. I ride mostly around Chico/Oroville, but would like to make some CFW and Delta trips.

The video is my biggest flop of the day. Even with loctite and lock washers I cannot keep my holds tight. But normally I stay in the holds and holding onto the ski while flopping. :)

I'm running kawi 1000, maxx kawi 155 14v pump, 7/15, rrp pipe, novi's, short hull. I have no excuses, just being a puss. Mike is right about committing. He had some good tips for beginners.

I am usually out alone and it kind of holds me back, but I am still being a puss. Really, what's someone going to do for you watching. I just keep swimming back to an upside down ski floating.

Oh well, just have to practice and get some confidence.

I don't think you're being a puss at all, it's good to have someone watching you. I was riding with a buddy last month and he flopped, got a little confused and stuck in his hold. He was down for too long and popped up just as I was tossing the camera to go get him. He was upset, but thankfully okay.

Thats true, thanks. I had that happen too. I try not to panic and work it out. I put a little more room in my foot holds by removing some turf.

It is just frustrating, I appreciate it. Im hoping to get out tonight after work. Maybe try some of Mikes tips. Im all gung ho until I come up to the set up wave, ha ha.

I'm that same way too. One day I just realized that I could go for it. Then I took my ski apart to sell so haven't had time to master. You just got to get rid of that feeling approaching the wave. A solid blip to get the nose up. Get some pump drag and pull both levers. I started with 60% throttle and moved up little by little as I got comfortable.

Right before you grip the levers drop your ass and squat. Leave the wave and look back. I can nose in if I don't move my head. It's amazing what proper body language does. Hopefully I don't forget the basics when I pick up riding again next season hah
