Fitting a waterbox from a RN superjet

Do any of you guys know if the waterbox builds up a lot of heat with normal use....? Reason for asking is I am trying to wedge in an aluminium unit from a 2004 superjet. It looks like it will fit in , but its going be tight and at a bit of a weird angle , and i am a bit concerned about it rubbing up against the fuel tank and the fuel filler pipe... Any advice appreciated...

I have a Old Fiberglass one from a Round Nose one in mine.... Tight fit but no issues... Its on the filler neck and tank as well...

Did you have to shorten the pipe at the exhaust end of the waterbox , or just jam it in..?

Jammed it in... The hardest thin is getting the filler neck on the tank and the battery box in but it fits with a little muscle...

Yeah , that what I did as well...
