Other Yamaha Wave venture engine swap 701 (62T ) to 760?

My son forgot to put opil in his PWC a 1996 yam venture 700 and trashed the engine. A very sad day for one little man! My question is: Will a 1997 yam venture 760 engine interchange / bolt in ?

All twins bolt right in, and so should the electronics, but exhausts and carbs can be different. Carbs should not be an issue, but you need to make sure you have the same exhaust style.

Ya, and if he uses the 701 exhaust on the 760 it will govern the power down substantially for the "little man"... Prolly a good thing for now maybe, haha

That OEM 760 pipe is a monster, makes more HP than a B pipe, but weighs more and does not fit in a Superjet...lol such a Bummer!
