Super Jet Skat 9/17?

Hey guys just threw this prop in my ski, it looks like an older design and I'm trying to get the most bottom end out of my ski, but all it does is pull hard up top. Anyone running this prop or have any ideas what this thing is for lol.

Had a brain fart, I was thinking all props went off hooker pitches. 9/17 skat does not equal 9/15 hooker, I forgot they're special. Lol

That 9-17 loads about the same as a 9-15 hooker. The old prop will pull as hard from 15mph to top speed but not out of the hole ( on smooth water). I you have a considerable lag in response then its the engine. The 9-17 is already a light load and buying another impeller wont fix that.

Yeah thanks, i figured they wouldnt be too different. And lag is definitely in the tuning, I just got the motor rebuilt and running, ported 718 with 190 psi. I just need to tune those damn carbs already lol
