Can you paint a chin pad?

My SN OEM chin pad has some mildew stains that won't go away, and I don't particularly like the gray color. What kind of paint should I use? Is painting it even a viable possibility?

They make a vinyl spray, or use to. try autozone

Removing the cover and turfing is a popular option too.

You can use a Spray on vinyl paint but make sure you get the proper prep or else it won't last very long ...honestly though for similar costs you'd be better off to buy new vinyl and rewrap the chinpad...get a 4 way stretch vinyl, it's easier to work with and you can do it yourself with a staple gun, air stapler would be best though.

Oh and as mentioned a turfed chinpad looks good too and is easy to do.

We turf them all the time. Will cut the weight WAY down as well as the foam is always soaked, and very heavy.

Right on, and my handle pole is already heavy enough as it is. I think I'll go that route. Thanks.
