Freestyle 2 diff styles hooker prop?

One of these is a few yrs old and one is newer,how many have the flat leading edges like this?
I dont really get why they are labeled like this either,one is labeled 10/16 the other is a 11/17, On a prop gauge one is 13/17 the other is 13/16 on one blade,16.5 on another and 17 on the third. I have a skat c75 12/17 and they look presicly the same root angle and shape.the hooker is cut back a little further and needs a spacer to run in the mag is the only visable diff.
I hear yet another ver is coming out...will we all have to have it too?lol

Maybe..because all hookers (9-15_10-16_11-17 ) are made from the same core?? . All have same root dimensions. Just more/different bends. which is not always the best way ..but it reduces costs... And not many seem to really wanna pay for a "better" design.. there are only like 2 main "cores" that are used to create most of the freeride (*)style props.
The lower looks like a skat swirl... Skat makes hookers for Dave as a private lable....

I have also received many many new props that were not pitched correctly. Its completely BS, I got fedup and started selling pitch gauges for $10 just to help spread awareness.

Dave from impros told us that his 10/16 is more comparable to the c75 13/18. The pitches are specific to the manufacture and are not an industry standard.

Yep, that makes sense, that globally recognized unit of measurement is defined by each manufacturer.

I meant the root angle of the c75 is the precise same as the hooker,there are only 2 roots one high one low. Im just wondering why these 2 hooker props look different,one has a flat edge leading angle,the other is round. Looks like when skat went to the swirl design,so did the hooker. Anyone else think its strange that skat and solas use the same unit of measurement as any prop gauge you can obtain,but these have some weird # pitch marketed on them?

they are 13/18 lower pitch....low pitch #s are associated with low end and must sell better. I bought these cause you would expect a impros custom prop to be pitched dead on,at least have all 3 blades the same. They do work really well in stock pump,but being cut back so far they need to be spaced in a mag is annoying. anyone hear of the new magic hooker coming out soon?

I always thought the hookers were something different. But after searching for pictures, they just look like a Solas Concorde, which appear to be a prop in between the swirl and the straight edge props...
Still not sure what your question is.

I have a 11/17 that looks like the bottom one and tried a 10/16 that was shaped like the top one. I did not use a pitch gauge on either of them though. I think the 9/15 is shaped close to the same as the 10/16 or top picture.

Happens all the time. ordered 12 hookers for a bachelor party few weeks ago and different is the word for what showed up.

I have a big hub concorde that I got from Phillip that was recut to the same specs as a 9/15 Hooker. Your top prop is a hooker. bottom looks just like a skat freeride swirl.

arent skat swirls,made with the skat label in the casting of the prop? both these were sold as hookers

That is what I was thinking since I saw the first post, but couldnt be certain.

Uh, Have you called Dave? I have not seen a newer skat prop. I sold mine when I got my fist hooker.
I know they use to.

neither of these are cast with skat or solas on them. just the pitch scribed inside the hub 10/16 and 11/17 both hooker pitches ...I tried calling no answer and no return on mesgs..what else is new

I believe I've had Skat props that don't have Skat on them, or they just say Skat, and the pitch is hand engraved inside...
I say it doesn't matter what it's called, if it works for you, then run it.
