Group K sleeper...worth the price?

Hello everyone, picked up a 550sx and want more power out of it and seen the group k sleeper kit and was wondering if anyone has expirence with it.

put your 550sx long block on the shelf to save n lets swap a 650 into your ski

Is it worth it? Or should I just save an get a super jet lol. That's what most ppl seem to say.

dont invest a ton into your 550sx...


at the end of the day no matter how much time n money you put into that ski, itll still just be a kawaski 550 at the end of the day


save you pennies n upgrade once you master that 550 as it is

Get a pipe for it and have the head machined for 92 octane. Other then that save up for an SJ. =)

I planned at the least to put a half pipe and a 15.5 impeller, I want a bit more bottom end and from my understanding that's what I'll get with those mods.

What you listed and a milled or a/m head will add the much needed bottom end.

can never go wrong with lightened flywhee..... adds tons of low end

I had a 550sx with a few mods
1/2 pipe
Stainless impeller
44mm carb
That ski was a blast to ride. I had so much fun on it that I regret selling it to this day. I have a superjet, but the 550 was still fun every time I rode it. It doesn't hurt to put a little but of money into your 550, but I wouldn't get too crazy. A superjet would be your best upgrade but it isn't cheap.
A lightened flywheel might go good on your 550, that was the next step for my ski, but I sold it.
