Blowsion Handle Pole Spring install help needed!! Please

Guys, I am having a diffucult time with Blowsion HD spring install on the Factory SuperJet Handle Pole. Does anyone have any advice? Please help.....Any thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated!!!

Just went through this.... after 45 minutes of not being able to get the bolt to slide through the center of the spring and line up with the threaded hole in the bracket..... I had to make some decisions.... What I decided to do was...CUT. 1/8" to 1/4" off from the bottom of each spring rod.. I also took out the white bushing out of the r.h. side of the pole and used my dremel to put a taper or funnel effect where the bolt enters... this put the spring in a much better position to make everything line up to slide the bolt through..

No cutting or bending of the spring needed. This worked for me. I started the bolt on one side then I installed the spring where both the top and bottom of the springs were in their retaining holes. At this point it is at an extreme angle. Once you get the bolt in one end of the spring, use a 12" socket extension on the opposite side to work the spring where it will straighten up while you push or tap the bolt with a deal blow hammer. Takes a little finesse and patience but it will go. I also put anti-seize on the bolt as well as the the inside of the bushings so it wouldn't bind up. Hope this makes since and hope it helps.

Thank you!!! @600h.o. this worked awesome!!! As soon as I cut 1/8 inch off both side of the spring everything was much easier to line up and wiggle in. Best advice ever!! Did not need to do the cone shaped thing with the dremel tool. You rock!! I was getting ready to torch the ski at first lol.

Thank you !!! @Mike W I wish I would have gooten this message a little earlier as by the time I received I already made my cuts!! I think this way would have worked great as well!! Thakns for the advice and taking the time to write it out.

I am very happy my advise worked well for ya!!
Its funny... but....I put a Riva Spring in my 2012 Superjet with no issues, just a little finess, grease, and a rubber mallet!..
But when I went to put a Blowsion Spring in my 2014... It was a nightmare!.
My luck with the quality of Blowsion's parts has not been the best lately......! I Just had the to finish tapping the threads on a $60 dollar set of hull inserts for there tubbie two destroyers,... just to get the bolts to thread in rite out of the package!!..
There quality controll guy must be on vacation... lol

Hey all, I know this is an old dead thread but I wanted to add some input for anyone else beating themselves up trying to get this done. I spent 5 hours on it last night and had it in 5 minutes today. Once you work your bolt past the spring coils, bring it nearly against the right side pole hole, it will not line up as there is heavy pressure against the bolt. DO NOT pry from the right side bracket to line up the holes, it will ruin your threads and is unnecessary, instead, put a 12-18” pipe over the bolt on the left side for leverage, which will side beyond the head and rest against the pole bracket. While lining up the holes, take a smaller diameter pipe and use it as a drive punch inside of your leverage bar and tap the bolt through the plastic bushing of the pole til it hits the bracket. The holes won’t be lined up between bracket and pole but it moves easily by hand to line them up. This technique allowed me to install it myself and I am no longer afraid of this task after a crazy difficult and long night struggling. Hope this helps someone else!
